I am a marine engineer by education and an oil and gas EPC project manager by profession. After several years of working with international companies, I decided that I wanted to continue my education in Europe. I researched a number of programmes, but Sustainable Maritime Engineering stood out as the one that ticked all the boxes for me, particularly because it aligns with my academic and research interests as well as my commitment to social responsibility.

What has impressed me most is the combination of top-tier faculty, world-class facilities and the individual care given to every student. This personal support reminds me every day why I chose the University of Rostock. Through my studies, I am looking forward to developing further as a researcher and becoming a well-published scholar.
